Dear Supporter:

Words cannot express my gratitude for the prayers, support, and financial contributions that you have so freely given to my campaign for the Georgia General Assembly. We did not attain our goal of winning the election, as we fell short by approximately 1,000 votes. This does not mean that our volunteers did not work hard or that our energies and resources were wasted. Without a doubt our volunteers and supporters were outstanding!

Many of you may have received literature linking my campaign to private school vouchers. I want to assure you that I have never supported public funds for private school vouchers. Any literature or e-mails linking me to vouchers were completely false and independent of my campaign. Nor did I give permission for any type of negative campaigning.

I firmly believe that all public dollars should be used to provide quality public school education and that parental choice can be achieved within the public school system.

My only regret is that the hard work of our dedicated volunteers and the generosity of our kind contributors were not rewarded with a win in this election.

Please keep me in your prayers and positive concerns. My steps are ordered by the Lord.
